On this page, I’m going to break a major marketing rule.
I’m breaking a rule by making an assumption.
This is big No-No in marketing.
Assuming is the second worst marketing strategy in business, directly behind “Hoping.”
But since I have no idea about you or your business yet, it’s a required step.
So stay with me here.
I’m assuming you’ve landed here from a promotion, a live appearance, a paper, a Google search, or a client referral.
I’m also assuming you’re a dedicated, marketing-minded business owner interested in discovering proven ways to dominate your market and put more money in your pocket.
A big thinker with the courage to think in hundreds of millions, one who admires billion dollar thinkers, and is always on the lookout for like-minded people with good ideas.
And you’re more than willing to listen to unique, yet proven, often contrarian, ways to boost your bottom line.
If that’s not you, then the information on this page isn’t for you. You can safely click away because nothing else on this page will make much sense to you.
On The Other Hand...
But if you seek new opportunities to double, triple, or quadruple your profit, clear up foggy thinking, find interesting new profit centers, look for innovative ideas, or just replace lackluster marketing campaigns, then the techniques on this page will have you seeing dollar signs.
Sound good?
Great!
Now let’s talk.
The ideas in growth that you’ll read here aren’t corporate level nonsense or textbook theory.
It’s true I spent several long years in a billion dollar setting, working shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest marketing departments and product teams in business today.
However my most valuable experience came from working in the trenches alongside the smaller business owners. Smaller in revenue compared to the likes of Samsung or Sony, but still with the same energy, drive, and ambition. The ones who are focused on growth, getting new customers, and boosting average dollar per customer head.
Now, the techniques might sound odd from someone with my background, but as you’ll discover in just a second, my role in the billion dollar company was one of an entrepreneur, not a corporate guy in a 3-piece suit camping out in the corner office and taking two hour, three martini lunches.
In fact, it was quite the opposite.
There were days when the entire team was putting in 17 hour marathon sessions. Days when it seems like everything was burning down… and there was no end in sight.
All leading up to the day when we did tequilla shots in the marketing director’s office after the sales team closed it’s first million dollar deal. What a day to remember.
And even though for years we toiled towards exhaustion up to our breaking point, the things we learned and techniques picked up have been worth millions of dollars over the years.
And they could be worth millions of dollars for you too.
On this page you’ll discover my personal secrets for breakthrough marketing ideas, million dollar campaigns, and how to double your revenue using simple yet proven customer growth tactics of the most successful marketers actively doing business today.
In other words, this is a hands-on education of million dollar campaigns you can use today… and how you can join an elite group of marketing minded CEOs to boost your own bottom line by implementing these ideas.
Be certain of this – you have never heard a story like this one before, and I’ve never told all the parts of this story in one single place before.
To understand why this is so special – and why the rewards may be so great, I must take a moment to tell you some details about my private, professional life.
Secrets Of A Marketing Rebel
With A Blockbuster Product Running On
3 Billion Devices Around The World
Do you know one of the surest, and quickest, ways to improve the success of your business?
Repeat these words every day: “Apply proven techniques.”
Every business titan you’ll ever study does this.
Jeff Bezos memorized Sam Walton’s strategy and used it to grow Amazon.com to tens of billions. Back in his prime time, Sam Walton traveled around the country, discovered good ideas in other stores, then went home and put them to use in his own stores.
Mark Zuckerburg used a well-known technique to go from zero subscribers to 1 million.
Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, while fierce competitors, actually shared several strategies to grow their companies to billions.
These examples are everywhere. The more you study business success and history, the more you’ll find these patterns and models.
And it’s not just tech companies.
Henry Ford and Andrew Carnegie. J.P. Morgan and Thomas Edison.
Each of these big thinkers used similar business models to secure their legacy.
I could go on for days giving you hundreds of examples for business of all type, both big and small, service based and product based.
In just a minute, I’ll tell you about several “scaled down” versions you can use in your business right now… even if you don’t have a billion dollar budget. They are working today and even if you have no desire to be a billion dollar business titan, using these ideas will have your phone ringing with new orders.
But first, a bit of background.
As the former manager of 7 worldwide product lines, I flew to 9 countries, sat with executives from big name companies, and rubbed shoulders with some the smartest marketing minds you’ll ever find in business, exposing me to thousands of different promotion, sales, and marketing techniques.
And like a military-grade vacuum I sucked up every great idea I could find, then went back to headquarters and deployed it in our own product lines.
Our team of engineers, sales, and marketing staff worked in dozens of industries, from consumer to high-technology, services to manufacturing, with companies large and small…
… stealth mode start-ups in back bedrooms and big public companies with a worldwide footprint, including Samsung, Intel, Texas Instruments, and Microsoft…
… niche products and popular brands you stand in line to buy today, like the mega-hit iPhone.
… scrappy teams with big ideas and gusto as well as corporate executives with multi-million dollar marketing budgets.
To boost our own sales, we dove into new markets, tested every new marketing idea we found, and kept watch for new ways to get customers…. along the way inventing several strategies ourselves.
Plus, we kept a relentless travel schedule going to trade shows, seminars, worldwide events, and conferences where we picked up hundreds of other marketing tactics.
And that’s not even considering the thousands of entrepreneurs, business owners, and marketing minds I met with as a result of marketing, selling and supporting the 7 product lines – the guys who were leading new markets and sharing their future plans with us.
If you do the math, you will see how this relentless exposure to great marketing minds leads to a jam packed playbook of proven techniques… enough to fill a dozen black binders on an 8 foot shelf.
In just a minute, you’ll discover a few of the techniques working today for companies that aren’t billion dollar giants. Ideas you can use yourself.
But first, let me give you some insider information about these big companies.
As you can imagine, there are layers and layers of management in corporate business.
Like layers in a Jenga tower, you have middle managers, executives, and Vice Presidents all working at various levels in the corporation from the bottom floor to the penthouse offices of the C-suite.
Frankly, some of the middle management guys are real boneheads. (No offense, corporate guys and gals…just being honest.)
But for us and our team, the people we rubbed shoulders with inside these companies had a unique blend of talent.
You see, in a corporation, the product managers and marketing managers are the linchpin for new growth, customers, and sales. They are a mixture of high level strategy and hands-on work. They are the fuel that keeps the corporate engine running. The lifeblood of new money. They live and die by growth, revenue and customers acquisition. They measure themselves by the same metrics as individual business owners and entrepreneurs like you and me.
Very few people know this, but it’s true.
These jobs have high six figure starting salaries, along with bonuses, stock, and other perks. Many go on run their own companies. Talk to any million-dollar sales person in a corporate setting and they’ll have the marketing managers on speed dial.
And after working for years with these people, I can tell you this with 100% sincerity. These guys and gals are sharp, but they aren’t any smarter than many of the entrepreneurs you’ll meet today, including yourself.
There’s a quote from Steve Jobs that sums up this idea:
“Life can be so much broader, once you discover one simple fact,
and that is that everything around you that you call ‘life’ was made up by people who were no smarter than you.
And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use.”
And speaking of building your own thing, these guys create success in the same way we had success and in the same way you will have success – Start with proven strategies that work, then use them again and again to build momentum, then tweak, test, improve and grow.
Sounds simple, but it’s hard work.
You see, the competition is fierce in these big markets. In some industries, you’ll find 40 competing firms, all jostling for position trying to get a seat at the table.
So to stand out in a crowded arena like this, you don’t choose limp ideas.
You choose bulletproof marketing plans that can accelerate results and multiply your sales. Combinations of digital and print methods, mixed with compelling copy and great offers, then boosted by incorporating deep knowledge of human psychology and persuasion tactics.
The plan of action has to be powerful because it’s it not, you’ll be eaten alive by the 39 other sharks in your industry.
Here’s the thing though.
If entrepreneurs in smaller markets used these same techniques, the sales results would blow the roof off the building, like plugging a blender into a nuclear reactor. I know, because my clients have done it.
Yet in today’s hyper-competitive marketplace, these blueprints are exactly what every floundering company is hungry for.
Here’s how we learned these strategies.
Imagine that you’re selling an automotive part – we’ll call it a widget – into the major car companies. This widget fits into all types of cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs. It even fits into planes and helicopters.
You sell this widget into multiple companies. As your product grows over the years, you and your customers transform into partners whose future success is tied together like two guys in a three-legged race.
Since you’re working together, you pull back the curtain to share your marketing systems and future product roadmaps.
That’s how it worked for us. We worked with companies in 14 major markets and 27 sub-markets. In many cases, multiple projects in multiple divisions under the same brand.
So, why were they sharing their strategies with me?
Simple. These guys had 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year milestones and since I was in charge of the product, they bent over backwards to make sure people like me knew their game plan. Otherwise, the future of the product could screw up the future of their product.
For example, let’s say they use Feature A. Later, if I decide to kill off Feature A, they’d be screwed. This is called lock-in.
To stay in lock-step together they freely shared plans, strategies, and their marketing blueprints.
And they kept us updated on a regular basis.
You see, my official title was Product Marketing Manager but because I was once the lead software engineer on one of the products, I had authority over future product direction. I could kill an existing feature or approve a new one. It was a cross between product manager and marketing manager. This dual role is extremely rare. And as you just read, it’s where the rubber meets the road.
And it required many 20 hour days, sleepless nights, and plenty of work weekends.
The full details aren’t important right now, so just know this: These roles aren’t your typical corporate suit-and-tie gig. The positions are considered the most entrepreneurial role in a corporation. It requires you to think like a business owner and to make trade-off decisions like a CEO.
But don’t take my word for it, here’s what Ben Horowitz, a former technology CEO who runs a $2.7 billion venture capitalist fund, says in his best-selling book, The Hard Thing About Hard Things:
“A good product manager is the CEO of the product.
Good product managers take full responsibility
and measure themselves in terms of the success of the product.”
Borrowing from Horowitz, I was the “mini-CEO” of seven software product lines. The flagship product today is running on over 3 billion devices around the world, making it one of the most successful software products in tech history.
Working with such amazing people created one of the most fertile grounds for learning, trying, absorbing, and executing million dollar marketing ideas. The environment, team, and customers combined to create a veritable petri dish of entrepreneurial ideas, many of which where the catalyst for billion dollar products you see today.
And it left me with a little black book of proven marketing ideas that create millions.
But here’s my problem…
You see, all of that was great back then, but today is different.
Hyper-competition is the norm in every industry.
For the past decade I’ve scaled down these ideas to use for smaller businesses across 17 new markets, including coaches, consultants, and companies with fewer than 5 employees.
It’s been a fun ride because it’s forced to get up to speed quickly in a market, then wrangle with the marketing problem and solve it with the clients.
They strategies are adapted for 3 main things – fast deployment, faster results, and minimum time. They’ve been updated to the current digital landscape and work in every market for service companyies or product companies.
As I mentioned, back then when we found a new marketing idea we would launch it as fast as we could. It was an ongoing barrage of new ideas hitting the market like a Category 5 hurricane pounding the beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.
Today, my time is limited.
I refuse to work 20 hour days anymore. I have no intention of taking outside funding. And there’s just too many marketing ideas for too many companies and not enough time to put all of these into action.
For example, listen to this one.
Google, Facebook, and 3 other digital companies are operating 11 new “properties” that are absolutely critical for any business looking for new customers.
I call them “properties” because even though they exist on the web, they are similar to claiming a piece of real estate for your business. You use your business name to claim these 11 properties as your own, giving you more visibility, higher rankings in Google, and more customers contacting you.
These 11 new tools are breaking records for 3 key customer actions: getting more phone calls, increasing foot traffic, and attracting more customer orders.
Even though you probably know the brand name, these digital properties are not well known.
For example, the Google properties have nothing to with the search engine or Gmail.
Yet, entrepreneurs adding these properties to their marketing mix are adding new customers hand over fist.
A current client, who is already a multi-millionaire, was searching for a new way to bring in more customers for one of his brick and mortar businesses.
He hadn’t heard of these properties and when I explained the power of them, he gave the go-ahead.
In 90 days he saw a 30% boost in top line revenue.
Just about every other digital metric went up too.
Best part is, he now controls a marketing asset running 24 hours a day, bringing in a steady stream of new customers day after day, month after month, all year long.
In the venture capital world, a marketing asset like this is called a cash cow.
Yet, these big brands have done a terrible job of getting the word out. These properties are known only to a handful of marketing insiders and their clients.
Here’s why.
Even though these giant companies have hundreds of products, it’s extremely difficult for any service outside of the “core” to gain attention. You see, it’s these core services that make all the money.
So even a successful minor property will go unnoticed.
Let me show you.
Google (now called Alphabet) operates with $136 Billion in revenue. A massive $100 million dollar project (similar to one of the properties I’m talking about) is only seven tenths of one percent of total revenue. Hardly a blip on the radar screen.
Yet all of these digital properties, including the ones from Google, are free for business owners to use to grow their business.
The thing is, these techniques could change the trajectory of millions of small businesses across the United States, including yours. They have the potential to bring you a truckload of new customers.
Which means there is a vast opportunity for business owners who jump on the opportunity now before word gets out and the properties become more widespread.
It’s already happening.
In addition to the client you just read about, there are hundreds of locations in the United States in all types of business who are reaping the rewards of these tools.
Yet… even if I worked 24 hours a day and had a team of 150 people, there’s just too many businesses to help.
And that’s only one strategy.
Here’s another.
If you have a website, there’s a simple service you can use to educate your customers about your services. It’s email-based, but uses a little known weird twist to give you more customers and higher response rates.
It’s based on a framework that tells your customers about the services you offer… and do it in a way that’s not invasive, intrusive, or too “salesy.”
This single technique can increase the amount of money your customers spend with you, increase their total lifetime value, and cut your overall marketing expense since you aren’t frantically spending money to find new customers.
In fact, one General Manager of a 1M+ company loves this technique. She says the customers who mention this technique to her are friendlier, better customers who spend more money and come back more often.
This one technique could be applied to every business out there, both service and product companies.
Best of all, it can be put on autopilot so it runs forever without you touching it, giving you another marketing cash cow.
But, alas, not enough time to spread the word.
Now… I don’t want you to think I only do digital.
For a Japanese consortium, we used a multi-step, multi-media campaign to put executives from Intel, Texas Instruments, HP, Microsoft and other large cap tech companies into a conference room to hear a fundraising pitch.
I wasn’t told the final dollar amounts, but the conference room was jam-packed. Standing room only. The promotion was so successful that Wired Magazine showed up to cover it.
This simple but powerful model can be repeated for any company wanting to fill-up a room, create more leads, get more calls, convert more customers, put more butts in seats, or simply increase the foot traffic in their store.
Here’s another one.
For one small company with big seasonal swings, we developed a year-round program to prevent wild swings in cash flow. No more up and down months. The campaign put new customers into the store each week, all year-round.
The best part? The campaign runs to brand-new customers who have little before-hand knowledge of the company, which means that there is a continual flow of fresh faces into the store.
This strategy is digital only and yet is applied to a physical business with customers who travel to the store.
In the short term the cash flow stays steady, while in the long term these new faces turn into repeat customers and brand awareness deepens. The campaign has been running strong for over 2 years and shows no signs of slowing. It’s a win, win.
I could go on … and I will in just a minute.
What If You Had A Chance
To Use These Ideas To Your Advantage?
Before you read more about the other ideas, imagine for a moment that you had access to these marketing ideas.
The digital properties mentioned earlier could have added an easy 30% to your revenue, all from existing customers without the added cost of creating new products.
Your competitors would undoubtedly ignore this boost, unless they are unusually tech savvy, giving you an added advantage for 2 years (possibly longer). You would have discovered an underground river of new cash flowing directly into your bank account. If your business makes +1MM in a year, you’d have made an additional $300,000.00 EXTRA from these additions.
What’s more, you run this all the time, bringing you new customers while you sleep and freeing up your time to do more important things in your business. Or you could use the time to vacation.
And, perhaps more importantly, you could have seen first-hand the power of how small changes create drastic effects on your business results, and you would be actively seeking to find new ideas like these, like the general manager you just read about.
And that’s only a handful of ideas. Imagine now if you could take more of the ideas from my marketing playbook and put them to use in your own business like the ones who are doing it today…
But before I tell you about some of those, I should pause here to tell you specifically about what it is I do for clients… who these clients are… how they benefit from working together… what’s in it for them… what’s in it for me… the risks and rewards… and more.
Here’s What I Do For Clients
First and foremost, I am not trying to take a victory lap or toot my own horn. I’ve been blessed and honored to work with great teams of marketing minds and ambitious entrepreneurs. They have a grand vision for their products and services, and it would be a grave mistake for me to not acknowledge them.
What I know about marketing helped them grow because of the bedrock foundation they laid down then built upon to serve their customers with top-notch products and services.
At the same time, I don’t know you or your business. So I can’t promise these same results. No one can or should promise you out of this world results without talking to you first.
It is only as a business professional that I’m sharing these ideas with you.
In my work with owners, I give them proven marketing ideas for their business to cut through the static noise to discover their top customers, extend the reach to more people, and increase profit from the customers who buy from them.
It’s really very simple.
I don’t have the time or the dozens of team members that I once had. Further, I’ve discovered over the years that it’s more fun to work with fewer amazing minds than trying to spread myself too thin.
As Lincoln said (repeating John Lydgate),
“You can please some of the people all of the time,
you can please all of the people some of the time,
but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.”
Timeless advice. And even more true today, especially if you’ve ever been on the receiving end of an endless barrage of internet trolls, gunning for your product with every negative sentiment they can muster and calling you every name in the book.
It’s much better for your mental health and sanity to pick and choose who you work with.
That’s why I only work with a handful of private clients at a time.
Over the years I’ve developed a network of smart people to keep me abreast of new ideas and I subscribe to a dozen alert services, in addition to the playbook.
This cadre of marketing deal makers gives me early access to cutting-edge and fresh ideas that are working today bringing in real dollars, which ideas are losing steam, and insider info on new strategies just turning the corner into mainstream to bring in over-sized returns.
Access to this elite group of marketing insiders allows me to avoid certain trends that may seem hot, but aren’t quite ready for prime time.
Then, mixing these ideas with the business owners goals, we brew up new marketing campaigns together.
Some goals are ambitious, some are risky, and some are modest. But in every case, we have fun together.
“First Mover Advantage”
Have you heard the phrase first mover advantage?
First mover advantage refers to diving into a hot trend – sometimes head first and without due diligence – to gain an early advantage over your competitors. There are actually 3 different ways to have First Mover Advantage.
Let me summarize the most important one and the one that I’m suggesting you follow.
Rather than jumping on the bandwagon purely on popularity, only pursue new campaigns you know can PROFITABLY bring you new customers.
The key word here: profitably.
You may miss out on the newest of the new, but you’ll make more money.
This is your invitation to get in on marketing ideas – proven and new – profitably bringing money into the business.
These marketing ideas are working today, but haven’t reached mainstream marketers yet.
This is something that I’ve been doing with private clients for years.
Now… as you just read… “new” does not mean unproven.
You should know that these ideas are not deployed without a thorough vetting. In finance, there’s a concept called risk vs reward.
It’s a fancy phrase, but simply means this – If you’re going to do something a bit risky, you should make an oversized response as a fair return for the effort and risk.
For example, it doesn’t make sense to spend $50,000 on a new marketing campaign if you aren’t certain to make your money back on that investment.
Here’s an example.
In the world of social media marketing, Instagram is exploding.
Instagram grew to 1,000,000,000 active users in 2018, continuing to grow at 5% per quarter, which is unheard of for a user base so huge.
As you can imagine, Instagram is now a prime target for many digital marketers.
Not long ago, two clients called me asking if they should add Instagram to their marketing mix.
After careful analysis and examination, I told both of them to NOT use the service.
Why would I do this?
You see, using one of my frameworks, I analyzed their most profitable customer segment and combined it with their product mix.
My model told me their money would be better spent somewhere else. Instagram will one day be lucrative for them, but not yet.
And I was right.
But you won’t believe what happened next.
It turns out that some marketing millennial didn’t like my analysis and pestered the owner to run a test.
After the test, my results were confirmed. The cost of acquiring customers was too high to support a big investment.
You see, in all the years of doing this, even before working with private clients, I knew that the most powerful companies use frameworks and models to plan their marketing.
Now, planning sounds boring. And in huge corporations, it is boring. And often a waste of time.
But when it’s done right, it can be the difference between a flop and fantastic blockbuster.
As time went on, I realized there must be a way to create a system for deploying marketing ideas for companies more modest in size. The ones who didn’t have multi-million dollar budgets.
Only in the past few years have I nailed down the system, scaling it down to work with companies with 15 employees or fewer, including in some cases, single person companies who are using outsourcers to get things done.
Let me explain.
Most business owners take a one shot approach to marketing.
When a new shiny toy is in front of them, they shift focus to it.
Problem is, it’s hit or miss. Many never even track results.
For example, many people ask about a new website, or new marketing copy, or creating a new ad.
Trouble is, most business owners have no idea what to do after those things are developed.
For whatever reason, they believe an “updated website” will solve all their marketing problems. I know better than that.
So I came to the conclusion that for a marketing idea to “have legs” , you need a string of ideas to bring you back a return on your investment. Seems obvious, but you’d be surprised how few actually think this through.
Since small business outnumber large corporations 10,000 to 1, I needed several things in place to make this process appropriate for companies making less than 15 million a year. Among them:
- A method for identifying and screening the best opportunities…
- A way to separate ideas that work from ideas that “sound” good….
- A system for narrowing the selection to the most profitable ones with greatest return and lowest downside…
- A process for documenting and adapting to other business’s products and services
- A small group of smart entrepreneurs and owners to share ideas and build upon knowledge
You should know that I’ve been working on and refining this system for going on 6 years now. After a few false starts and missteps, the details are complete.
Bit by bit, all the wrinkles were ironed out. Now, finally, we are reaping the rewards of implementing new growth ideas together.
Here’s how it works with clients.
Recently, I’ve had a team of researchers collect, analyze, and categorize all of the marketing tactics we could find from my time at corporate, current clients, and the best of the best in business today.
This involved a very long 6 months of digging through old spreadsheets, notes, and even visiting old sales associates, many of whom have thriving sales careers and are now Vice Presidents and Directors running their own divisions.
In a few cases, it meant digging into old email backups. At least one laptop’s hard drive was brought back from the dead during the search.
These strategies were then compared to what’s working today and combined with the best forecasts from the leading marketing experts, giving us insight into what new trends are coming.
They were put together into what has come to be known as the Billion Dollar Marketing Playbook.
The title is a call back to my days working with billion dollar corporations.
These strategies were used by big companies, then scaled them down to work for entrepreneurs without massive public companies behind them.
These strategies were then used one on one with clients to help grow, build, and expand their own business, either through new customer acquisition, higher value products, selling more products, or referrals.
These strategies are presented to you as the client, and we discuss each one.
You give me your input. I’ll give you mine.
Then we’ll make a mutual decision.
If you like the strategy, we’ll get to work on implementing it. The schedule is up to you. The number of strategies is up to you. You can do one a month, or even one a quarter. The point is that you only need pull the trigger on the customer strategies you (a) believe are best for bringing more customers and (b) believe will bringing you the greatest return on investment.
You And I Are On The Same Side Of The Table
Remember, this is not a situation where I’m trying to sell you on every idea.
The presentations made to you on each idea are clear and simple to understand, and each has expert support and examples for you to see, dissect, and analyze yourself… but never sell you… on a given strategy. This process is to give you just the facts, and the details on how they will fit inside your given product or service offering. Just straight talk, if you will. Then, you’ll have absolute control over the ‘go/no-go’ decision to use the marketing strategies you’ve seen.
Remember, the idea behind this marketing playbook came about as a way to help me implement (and capitalize on) the many, many marketing strategies that have crossed my path in business.
Since I can’t implement all of the good ideas that run across my path, this was the perfect way to share these ideas with like minded entrepreneurs and business owners who are always looking for new growth and customers.
Another thing…
I’ll have the joy of knowing that you and some other shrewd marketing minded business guys are using these ideas to grow their business and make more money. I genuinely enjoy working with business owners.
And, at the same time, you benefit from the skills, experience, and knowledge from over 20 years of marketing work, with one product ending up on over 3 billion devices around the world. In other words, you’ll be working with someone who has a track record of success.
Good for both of us.
It’ll be fun too. Seeing all these opportunities. Talking about growth. Hashing things out. I’ve often had the best experiences working with like-minded business owners who have great products that they want to see succeed.
Sometimes the ideas are stacked on top of each other into a multi-combo strategy, creating a feedback loop where all the marketing strategies reinforce and strengthen each other.
Charlie Munger, the co-owner of Berkshire Hathaway and Warren Buffet’s business partner, calls this the “lollapalooza effect.”
Munger was referencing mental models, but it works with marketing models too.
When you have multiple marketing assets working for you, the total gains you make are greater than the simple sum of their individual returns.
In other words, 1 + 1 = 3.
Other times there are single techniques that by themselves are making millions.
For example…
Millions Turning
Advertising Into Profit
One trend we’re using now is the use of paid media to educate and inculcate your audience to all of your services, in an active and engaging manner.
The techniques we’ve found are working like gangbusters and don’t involve the traditional investment of time or resources you’d normally find in other digital marketing techniques.
I’m interested in this technique because I believe the most important skill you can have as a business owner is the ability to turn paid advertising into profit for your business.
After all, why spend time on iffy, half-brained “hacks” that might bring you customers, but may not. Best of all, we’re using little known, newly released techniques on the top platforms to bring in customers at an above average ROI.
Others agree with the rise of paid media.
Google generates more than $100 million EACH DAY from their AdWords platform. To put that in perspective, in the time you’ve invested in reading this far, Google has made $694,444. If you get a piece of that, then it could change your life forever.
That’s just one of the platforms.
Facebook’s platform allows you to reach up to 1.6 BILLION users.
And research suggests that this number continues to grow.
Here’s what you might not know.
These paid platforms, which started out with very basic paid media controls, have transformed into a indispensable system for bringing in new customers and is being used today by the smartest marketing minded business owners to bring in cash and customers.
There are many more accolades – and many more reasons to use this in your business.
But is it right for you?
I don’t know yet. On the surface, it’s very promising. If your business is one whose customers are coming in from within 200 miles of your office, then it could be a very good deal for you. If you’re a business coach or consultant, the same is true. If you’re bringing in client nationwide or globally, then the answer is yes.
A small set of carefully crafted paid ads could bring you double, triple, or even quadruple your current revenue levels.
Nice numbers for sure. But we’re still looking into the ins and outs of scaling this right so we can take it bigger at a moment’s notice. And once everything checks outs, you and I could be using this strategy to bring you a veritable landslide of new customers to your website or store – especially if your customers are anything like the millions of people who are spending hours of time on these platforms each day.
Of course, to take advantage of a top tool like paid media, you need to have a product with solid reviews and you should have a long-term outlook on your marketing efforts. But with most marketing techniques, you won’t need to be a genius to see their potential or put them to use.
Like this one…
A Bevy Of Secret (and Free!) Tools To Explode Your Sales
There’s one thing about today’s world of marketing. It’s full of data.
And there are trained people who dig through this data day and night looking for insights and opportunities.
I use tools like this too, but right now you should know that there are a handful of free tools you can use to create a sustainable growth in your company.
The first one is Google Analytics, which is a free tracking tool from Google. There are other solutions out there, but Google’s product is very helpful if you have none. And best of all, it’s a free service.
Now, what you might not know is that Google Analytics has improved significantly over the years. And you can now see major things like your customer flow through your website, see what content is bringing you customers, and analyze new markets for your product or service.
This is a big deal.
Further, there is another free tool that’s available today that gives you amazing insight into how your customers use and navigate on your website. It’s a service called HotJar, and it’s made to give you a birds-eye view of your customers and how they move through your website.
This service is free also.
These two tools, along with several others power tools I’ve discovered over the years, give you valuable insight that you’ve never had access to before.
In fact, with these two tools in your marketing, it’s almost a no brainer for you to see improvements.
Once these are used, then it’s almost impossible to NOT see improvements because you are no longer guessing at marketing. You have instant data you can use to measure, track, and see what’s working in your business.
Forget opinions and conjecture, using these two tools gives you instant insight to what’s working and what’s not.
And it’s this type of results-based marketing that you should be doing today.
Results are what my private clients value over all else.
Best of all, these tools are not the old-school spreadsheet based tracking tools. They have visual displays, graphical interfaces, and full customizable dashboards giving you a comprehensive and complete view of your website’s traffic and customer data.
You don’t need to be a CPA to read the data.
And it works with all of the strategies that are in the playbook.
Best of all, you won’t even need all of the strategies to work for you before these tools will show you progress in your marketing.
And to be successful, you don’t need every at bat to be a homerun. Just one.
In fact, the power of working together is that we can choose the exact and best strategies that are perfect for your business. And it doesn’t take a lot to double the size of your business, increase phone calls, boost foot traffic, or get you more leads. More on that in a second.
And the ideas are proven in the real world and come from sources that are verifiable and experts in their own field.
And rest assured that all of these proven to work.
Which means that you get gains quicker than your competition, bring in new customers as a faster rate, and accelerate your sales faster than you ever have before.
All in all, these techniques speed up your success and turn you into a major player, way faster than you would if you were just tossing ideas at a wall to see what sticks.
Because the name of the game is growth.
Using Proven Techniques,
You’re Growth Will Come Faster
– And Stay Customers For Longer
As an experienced business owner, you know you have to make many smart decisions to be successful over the long haul. This is not always easy, since the typical relationship in any business situation is the seller (you) versus buyer (somebody else). And since the buyers can go to hundreds or thousands of other stores today, it’s very easy to lose prospects and buyers.
That’s why when it’s you versus the customer, you’re going to lose out most of the time. Most won’t buy from you. You know it. I know it.
You can verify this yourself. Out of all the companies who could be your customers, think of how many have not bought from you.
Here’s another real life example. When you’ve visited a department store, have you ever had a sales clerk come up to you and ask, “Can I help you find anything?”
If you’re like 9 out of 10 people, you’ve uttered the knee-jerk reaction “No Thanks, I’m just looking.”
I’ve done it before…. hundreds of times.
But that’s what’s so ideal about using techniques from the billion dollar playbook.
You’re no longer guessing as to if the techniques will work. In fact, it’s quite the contrary. You have the benefit of hundreds of proven techniques and business ideas guiding all aspects of the campaign. You have a way of analyzing your leads with your goals in mind, in a way that’s organized, consistent, and doesn’t leave any questions unanswered, any stone unturned.
What’s more, you will be part of a collective force that can’t be urged, persuaded or bullied into taking a bad marketing idea that doesn’t have any chance of working for your business.
Which brings up another point…
Something I’ve discovered to be true in my many years in business…
Don’t Get “Sold” On A Bad Idea
As a marketing-minded business owner, it is very easy to be blinded by a new idea that you’re being pitched on. By that I mean there are some deals where a salesperson calls you up, sells you on the idea, and you “fall in love with it”… that you want to believe will work, despite the odds being greatly stacked against you and the price tag so high that there’s no way you’ll ever see a return. I know I’ve been caught many times in bad ideas (including some of my own) and it can be very costly.
Which brings to mind another way you can use your membership as a private client to your advantage…
Use Our Experience To Accelerate Your Growth
If you have a marketing idea or customer acquisition strategy – and you’d like to offer any part of it up to the group – you can run it through our evaluation process and get an honest, thorough reading of its potential. If it’s flawed, we’ll say so, and maybe even offer suggestions to make it work. If the idea’s a good one, you’ll almost certainly have a ready source of inputs and staff ready to help you deploy it and magnify it. Your marketing idea will be off and running… with far greater chance of success had you gone it alone.
That’s how we work together…
And this is precisely what I had in mind when I first envisioned opening up this Billion Dollar Playbook a few years back: A group of hungry, ambitious, experience business owners to work with and use these marketing tactics as they apply to their own business – buoyed and assisted by the resources of an collection of research and proven marketing principles which will greatly improve our chances of success.
How To Double Revenue
Many marketers shy away from numbers.
Most hear the word “math” and think spreadsheets and calculators. Yet, there’s a surprising discovery when you do. It’s easier than you think to double revenue when you dig into the numbers.
Now, I’m not talking about get rich quick plan. There’s really no such thing. In fact, I’d go so far as to say if you’re looking for an overnight success, or get rich quick scheme, then I’m not going to work with you
One of the common themes among successful companies is that they manage to grow consistently each year.
After years of working on performance, looking at the numbers is the first place we start with new clients.
Don’t worry, this isn’t hard and quite frankly, it’s shocking when you see the shortcut I’m about to show you. It’s all about how to double your business and how to calculate it quickly and easily.
Earlier, you read about marketing assets being a cash cow. You should be building marketing assets instead of trying to hit home runs all the time. Well the truth is, a few consistent, modest markets assets can double your business in a few short amount of time.
When you dig right into you, you’ll find out that by boosting 4 simple metrics, you can double your revenue in 12 months.
Here they are:
Average Touches per year
Response rate
New Customers Per Year
New Add-On Purchases
Now, I’ve written about this before, so I won’t spend too much time on it here.
But know this.
By adding a 30% boost to a few simple metrics, you can double your revenue in 12 months.
And that’s using very conservative numbers here.
In this letter, you’ve already heard about several ideas to build marketing assets.
The thing is, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
There’s No End To The Marketing Ideas I See
I could go on and on about the marketing ideas to grow your business.
But that’s not really the point of the letter. The growth will come. I’m confident of that.
Here’s the deal.
As a member of my private marketing circle, you will be privy to the kind of opportunities most business owners will never see in their lifetimes. I’m talking about the kinds of deals that are only circulated around those people in the most “favorable” of positions – people with the right knowledge… the right contacts.. and, of course, ample wealth and access to capital.
Rest assured, I would have never see the marketing ideas I’ve told you about had it not been for my position as a marketing executive in technology and other industries… the people I know… my good record of marketing results… my reputation for being a go-getter… my considerable knowledge of sales and marketing… my general business acumen.. and, or course, my relentless pursuit to help business owners and entrepreneurs grown their business by 2x, 3x, or even 4x their current size.
Same with other clients in my group and people I’ve worked with…
These people – and others I’m in continuous contact with – are the major players in their own companies and in their own industries, but would probably never get to meet, let along profit from their unique talent and smartness.
They’re the people with the Midas touch, with sales talent, genius creative brilliance, who seem to create brilliant ideas at the drop of a hat. They understand marketing in ways that most people will never attain, and they have a very good instinct for creating genius ideas that will work in any marketing, generating millions of dollars in sales.
Joining up with such people is a major step up for any business owners used to creating marketing campaigns and dealing with sales teams to sell their products and services. Seeing the marketing ideas they see is a tremendous advantage. And being able to participate in these deals – well that can have an overwhelming impact on your wealth and future success of your business.
For instance, one client had a stalling product. After years of strong sales, new customers dwindled down to a trickle over the years. We dug into the product, the messaging, and the campaigns, and built a campaign that has been responsible for over $200,000 to his business.
This is simply one idea idea out of thousands in the playbook I’ve told you about.
But listen.
If you’ve read this far, you either understand the value of this opportunity or you don’t.
If you recognize the opportunity, you’ll want to join right away.
And we’d love to have you…
What Kind of Businesses Will This Work For?
But there are some things that I’m looking for in a private client.
And instead of trying to add in dozens of new clients at a time, I’ve created a special 12 week membership group that I’m trying out for a limited time to a limited number of entrepreneurs.
And I would encourage you to consider very strongly whether membership is for you.
As I’ve already mentioned, you should have a track record with your product – and have a sincere interest in the type of high-growth, marketing-minded opportunities I’m talking about here.
Naturally, it would be useful to have the necessary resources available to invest in the marketing ideas that interest you as they arise. There are too many good opportunities to join this group merely to sit on the bench and not get in the game.
And while it’s not crucial that you put into play all of the ideas that come your way, we ask that you review each opportunity in a timely fashion and with an objective eye and then express your interest – or disinterest – within a reasonable time frame.
Finally, there is a membership fee.
The price is not cheap by any means. It’s a $5,000 a month to join. That covers your membership and makes you a member of our private circle for the duration of the program. Everyone in the group pays the same price.
Now, if those numbers make you nervous, then there’s a good chance this opportunity is not for you. And I apologize for taking up your time. But the fact is, this opportunity is not meant for everyone.
I’m not looking for a lot of people – just serious marketing minded entrepreneurs who understand the benefits of belonging to such an elite, close knit group.
Remember, just the marketing campaigns idea I’ve mentioned in this letter could have doubled or tripled your current sales in less than 12 months!
Plus, you’d have the marketing assets in the campaigns that you could run over again or modified and adapt for your other product or service offerings. This could have easily been priced at tens of thousands of dollars.
But we settled on $5,000 a month for two reasons. One, we think it’s enough to discourage people who really shouldn’t be in this group… those without the experience or the capital to benefit. Second, it allows us to run the membership in a serious manner, and to put the proper people and resources in place that will allow us to examine each deal properly.
Remember, too, what you’ll be joining…
You’ll become an integral member of a group of marketing minds who are privy to the kind of serious and sophisticated marketing ideas most people never have an opportunity to see – creating compelling offers… media strategies… digital dominance… lead generation… and more.
You’ll have an opportunity to examine every marketing deal that comes along – one each week.
You’ll never be ‘sold’ on any strategy – even if the group is 100% that you could profit from it. We’re just inviting you into the room… you put into practice the strategies you want to get into – it’s up to you. You’ll discover everything about the strategy early on – warts and all – through a detailed ‘opportunity prospectus’ delivered each week in a webinar.
You can join us to participate when we discuss the merits of a deal. Of if it happens that you can’t attend, a recording of the meeting with be sent to you.
You’ll decide if and how much you want to participate in any strategy on the table, or you may opt out if you choose, and wait for the next one.
Plus, you will be free to bring any marketing strategy you may have to the group – and have it put through the same rigorous feasibility and profitability check all our prospective deals receive.
And in most cases, I will personally review and look at your idea to give you guidance and feedback.
But before you jump in…
You can join the playbook club today, if you like, by completing the membership application on the next page and sent your information to us. Simple click the link below and you’ll be taken to the application page.
But before you do anything, please promise me this.
Promise me that you’ll consider what I’m proposing to you very carefully. By that I mean, if you have an concerns about it, don’t rush it right away. This is a serious commitment. I want you to be absolutely sure you’re comfortable with this level of marketing. We’re looking for a small number of committed people, not a large group of tire-kickers. This is not for you if you’re coming in under a lot of stress and worry.
And even if you wait a week or two and then find that it’s filled up… don’t worry. We’ll put you on a waiting list. And when we get to the next class… if there is one, then we’ll contact you.
Fair enough?
Good.
What You Get… How Does Membership Work…
I’ve told you much about the club works in this letter, but the instant you join you’ll be sent the full details. You’ll find out precisely how the deals work… how the strategy calls are structured… details of what you can expect when we meet…. and much more.
It’ll also include details on any projects currently under consideration, including some more background on the 3 strategies discussed in this report as well as details about how you can get started immediately using these strategies.
When you receive everything, take some time to look it over. Make sure you’re comfortable with it.
To get started, the membership will start with a phone call. The phone call lasts from 45 to 90 minutes and we go over your application and I personally help you develop a dominant marketing strategy.
The call will be the first step in hitting your revenue goals for the next year and we will discuss many of the strategies in the report, plus more.
There is a ‘real person’ reservation of $750 for the phone call. But that fee is only to make sure that you are serious about this deal.
If at the end of the phone call you aren’t interested in joining, then you’ll immediately be refunded your reservation fee.
If you do join the membership, then the reservation fee will be deducted from the first month’s membership dues.
If, as I suspect, you decide to stay on and join… wonderful!
I’m very excited about what the coming months will hold for us – as well as the profit I’m confident we’ll be making together.
Until next time,
Kyle

P.S. As you’ve read, this membership is NOT for everyone. To get the most out of membership in this group, I must limit spots to 11 entrepreneurs with the following criteria.
This membership program is NOT for everyone so please read the next steps carefully.
- You have a solid business already.
This membership is for owners who already have a solid business. The ones who are already up and running. The marketing ideas in this membership will release the chains and set you free so you’ll run faster and a lot farther. You should be be doing 6 or 7 figures in business already to get the most from this membership.
- You must have a steady flow of leads and customers.
This means you’re getting traffic or visitors now. You don’t need a tidal wave of traffic, but it does need to exist.
- You must have some form of a list.
The list size isn’t as important as how responsive the members. If your lists are spread out over several computer programs or on paper, your first step is to hire an intern to collect them into a single location, like a contact database or spreadsheet.
- You must have a solid reputation with testimonials, reviews… or be able to acquire them quickly.
These strategies build upon a solid foundation of good service and product quality. If you’re product isn’t supported with testimonials or positive reviews, then you may find it slow going. If you can get them quickly, do so before you apply and your application will be approved quicker.
- You must execute on plans with steadfast determination.
Don’t worry, there won’t be sleepless nights or weekends involved. But you will need to execute on the ideas we discus. After all, for these strategies to work you must put them into play.
Those are the requirements for this program. If you haven’t hit one of these yet, then I simply ask for you to wait until you have hit them all before applying.
Oh, and you should be the owner, CEO, or decision maker for your company. If you aren’t you can simply forward this page to them to have them sign up.

See you on the other side!
Why choose us
Playbook
After 21 years in marketing, patterns emerge. Routines form. Think of your favorite sports teams. The pros are not winging it. The marketing playbook I’ve developed is based on proven techniques from over 20 industries that have brought in millions of dollars.
Always Focused
Training and continued education is the norm. I’m been a life-long learner and voracious readers since my youth. I stay on top of trends in tech, marketing, sales, media, and others. This helps my clients by staying in front of growing trends and seeing new opportunities before they happen.
Proven
Start with what works. The techniques are proven across the media channels you are, or
should be, using to bring in new customers. Some products see modest 15% to 20% boosts, while some see revenue double, triple, or even quadruple.
International Experience
The world is small. International experience may not be right for you, but if it is, then make sure you’re working with experience. The ultimate test of marketing ideas is their effectiveness in international settings.
23+ Industries
Deployed marketing materials in over 23 industries and sub-markets, like consumer devices, digital services, information products, consulting, and non-profits. Worked in both service and product companies in consumer marketing and B2B.
Results-Based
Focused on execution and results. Marketing campaigns don’t work if they sit on the shelve. Execution is the key to success. We use milestones and metrics to establish baselines and tell us what to do next. Fast implementation means more sales.
